Design development sketches for a replacement dwelling in Green Belt, Surrey
The existing house on this rural site has been the subject of a number of alterations and extensions over the years to the point where further improvement of the existing structure will be difficult and expensive. As the owners have no wish to move they have decided to demolish the existing house and build an efficient replacement dwelling on the site. Green Belt policy on replacement dwellings restricts the size of any new dwelling. The impact and appearance of the proposal is also critical to the success of any planning application.
